RetroBox: Custom ERP Solution
RetroBox, a rapidly growing online retailer, was quickly outpacing its legacy operational infrastructure. As transaction volumes continued to increase, RetroBox turned to Workstate to design, implement and deploy a completely new operations management system.
Assignment
Create a turnkey invoicing, warehousing, and customer service system for a growing online retailer.
Audience
All sales, warehouse, and operational personnel across the enterprise as well as corporate clients and consumers.
Challenge
Workstate was required to develop a comprehensive upgrade of the client’s entire enterprise infrastructure within an aggressive time frame. Additional challenges included: the redesign of existing business workflows and processes as well as completing all deployment, transitions and training in time for the hard project deadline.
Results
ROMS is an innovative and entirely web-based operational system that manages all aspects of RetroBox’s operations including: warehousing, client invoicing, customer service, online ordering, product testing and shipping.
Workstate performed end-to-end system development for RetroBox including: business analysis, requirements gathering, functional specifications, application development, testing and deployment.
The new system increased warehouse productivity within RetroBox and made dozens of new reports and operational metrics available to executive management.
