Workstate, with the help of our Chicago-based partner, Thirst (www.3st.com) has been selected as a Liferay implementation vendor for the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP).

CMAP is the official regional planning organization for the northeastern Illinois counties of Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, and Will. CMAP establishes coordinated strategies that help the region’s 284 communities address transportation, housing, economic development, open space, the environment, and other quality-of-life issues.

Workstate is extending our current relationship with JAJAH, the leading IP communication platform in more than 200 countries, to enable the Microsoft Voice Anywhere project.

JAJAH is owned by Telefonica Europe, the leading global operator of integrated communications.

Today, Workstate and partner UNICON International kicked off an information architecture and design initiative for the ODJFS Ohio Job Insurance website. This new site will replace Ohio’s current unemployment compensation benefit delivery, reporting and accounting systems.

This week, Dell, a leading provider of integrated technology solutions worldwide, engaged Workstate for several strategic 2011 initiatives.

JAJAH, the leading IP communication platform in more than 200 countries, selected Workstate to implement a new CMS-driven website with tight back end integration. The project kicks off in Madrid next week.

JAJAH is owned by Telefonica Europe, the leading global operator of integrated communications.

Workstate completed two mobile projects in November. We were subcontractors for other vendors for both gigs – One iPad project and one Android project.

Workstate became a technology partner for V-Day, a global movement to stop violence against women and girls. Workstate will be providing ongoing maintenance and enhancements for their web properties.

Workstate launched a new website today for Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield intended to support health benefits officers. The site will educate benefits professionals about Anthem’s products, services and offerings, as well as provide online services to connect customers to consultants.

It was also an opportunity for us to once again work with Silverlight.

Workstate kicked off a project geared towards improving prescription drug compliance. Noncompliance present significant challenges to physicians and the U.S. healthcare system as patients fail to realize the full benefits of their proscribed care.

Sponsored by a major pharmaceutical company, this project will provide tools to pharmacists that help identify at-risk patients and provide interventions as needed.

Workstate just completed OCLC‘s Library Planning Center, a free resource designed to support technology planning and management in libraries. The engagement was funded by The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Workstate kicked off a health benefits administration project today for Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield’s Federal Employee Program.

Anthem’s FEP organization has a team of distribute Field Account Representatives who service their clients throughout the country. The project will will aim to build a better communication bridge between account representatives and their clients.

Workstate & Concentric Studio launched the Victoria’s Secret All Access website today. Concentric Studio lead the design efforts while Workstate managed core development. Partners Big Spaceship & Microsoft contributed the Silverlight module.

Workstate partnered with EyeMed and a local interactive agency to help architect a flexible visual interface that allows EyeMed to dynamically brand their microsites for their clients.

EyeMed previously had to undertake the expensive process of building individual custom Microsites for each new client they brought on. This resulted in extensive development costs and lead times before a new site could be turned up to service a client.

Now a consistent user interface can be turned up for a client by configuring branding data, images and integrating backend data. New sites will soon be able to be turned up in a matter of days rather than months.

The result now is a clean, consistent and branded interface for each new client. The effort on the part of EyeMed is now focused on crafting a successful brand for their client as opposed to “reinventing the wheel” every time a new client has been signed.

Today we kicked off the second phase of the Royal Neighbors of America website project – we’ll be focusing on integrating back office systems and building applications to better serve the varied audiences of this fraternal organization.

Workstate is proud to have been a part of the new Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) redesign. Workstate was happy to lend a hand with the e-commerce and shopping cart featured on the new site.

The new site features a totally new graphic design as well as a new social component to build a community among site visitors and the museum. To find out more about the new direction MoMA is taking, read the New York Times article and check out the site for yourself.

Wellpoint has selected Workstate to upgrade their Content Management System Architecture. This upgrade will result in increased stability, performance, and maintainability for their MyAnthem Portal applications while also reducing overall operational costs.

Today is the public launch of the Royal Neighbors of America website (www.RoyalNeighbors.org). We went from strategy, to requirements elaboration, to CMS vetting, to design and final implementation in an amazing 10 months. Kudos to the extended team!

Workstate completed the Wellpoint PrecisionRx enhancement project today – continuing a wonderful 9 year relationship that began with the Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield website redesign.

OCLC launched the complete reimplementation of their library portal, WebJunction. Workstate was involved in many facets of the project, including managing the complex data migration efforts, developing custom LMS APIs, and implementing a new QA testing platform.

The website redesign and build project for the 100+ year old fraternal organization will underpin Royal Neighbors of America’s new branding and marketing strategy.
